Final Review

I have created a vocabulary list for the final.  Students will be making flash cards, study guides from these words using their notes and book.  They will work with a partner to prepare themselves for the final.  Click here to access the vocab list.

Field Trip Next Tuesday/Wednesday

We will be heading to Clarksville, Mo to board a "floating classroom" provided by Living Lands and Water (LL&W) Organization.  They are an organization that hosts free workshops on water pollution and water quality on the Mississippi River.  Students need to have their school field trip card and the LL&W permission slip and waiver signed and turned in.  Students do not need any money. Unit 2- Minerals and Rocks

Now that we are finished testing over Unit 1, we will move to our second unit over Rocks and Minerals. We will cover chapters 3,4,and 5 in this unit. We will perform at least one experiment, and will conduct one research project throughout this unit.

Welcome to Seckman High School! I hope you have enjoyed your summer and are ready to start the new year!   I co-teach this class with Mrs. Perkins.  We are excited to get to know all of you and show you more about our Earth this year. We will learn about the various aspects of the Earth, including geology, meteorology, astronomy, and a little bit of oceanography.
